Floodplain Reptiles

The reptiles of the floodplains are many and varied and the crocodiles, goannas or monitor lizards and snakes are the most commonly seen. These reptiles can reach very high densities with researchers revealing very large numbers of species like water pythons preying on floodplains rats and other species.
