Kakadu Rivers

The Rivers of Kakadu have their headwaters in the Sandstone escarpment where beautiful gorges and waterfalls provide some of the most spectacular scenery, especially in the wet season.  The gorges worn by the rivers over millions of years contain some of the best Allosyncarpia forests, suppoted by the moisture from the deep sand.
